There's been a lot of talk lately about the similarities between Beyonce's new single 'If I Were A Boy' and Ciara's hit 'Like A Boy.' And in a recent interview with Hot 97 radio personality Angie Martinez, Ciara spoke out about the controversy. "I choose not to get into the craziness of it," Ciara said. "It's definitely a different record and the same concept. I respect her and I think she's an amazing performer."

The singer went on to stress the importance of the actual concept behind both songs, which questions male behavior and deals with the possibility of gender role reversal. "I totally respect [Beyonce]," the singer admitted. "The actual song is real. As women we go through it."

In related news, Ciara's upcoming album, 'Fantasy Ride,' has been pushed back to January 27.
