Christina Milian is giving some intimate insight on the status of her relationship with Lil Wayne after their breakup.

During her interview with The Meredith Vieira Show, the host asked the "Dip it Low" singer whether or not it was awkward creating the video Weezy for their collabo "Do It." Milian assures Vieira that they're "grown-ups" and that it wasn't difficult to get the job done.

"It wasn't hard at all because we're still friends," she reveals. "He and I are actually very good. I think we understood that the relationship is not working at the moment for us and we're both extremely busy. And rather than trying to force it and try to fix it, you know, make something work that's just not working in the moment, we're like 'let's just settle and chill out for a moment'."

She's also still in constant contact with the "Drop the World" rapper. "I literally was just texting him a little while ago. So we're still like texting each other, checking up on each other, we shot a music video, we were perfectly fine. The chemistry was still there. That's not gone at all," she says with a smile.

In an interview with HuffPost Live, the Grandfathered actress got even more personal on her love life. "It takes a big man and a big woman to actually say like, 'Okay, I'm in love with you, but I can't keep forcing it -- it's only pushing us apart'," she states.

But it seems the door isn't completely shut for the two, who were together for nearly a year. "Eventually, who knows!" Milian shares. "There might be a right time. This might be just it, and at the end of the day we're still here. We talk to each other still every day."
