Christina Milian, who's been tapped for a new role as a social media correspondent for the second season of NBC's reality singing competition 'The Voice,' decided to goof off with her daughter Violet behind the scenes of the show Wednesday (Dec. 21).

The 30-year-old singer-actress received a visit from her 22-month-old toddler during filming of the show. In between takes, the two took a seat in a chair and proceeded to engage is some fun mother-daughter time. "Guess who came to visit Mommy on set of #TheVoice...!? My happy baby! Violet & I making funny faces..." she wrote via Twitter, where she supplied a photo of her baby girl that can be viewed below.

As for the 'So Amazin'' creator's new gig, she was tapped for the role due to her expertise as a recording artist. "Christina's extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice," said NBC's Alternative and Late Night Programming President, Paul Telegdy. "Her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition. She is a hugely valuable addition as we prepare for another spectacular season."

The second season of 'The Voice' debuts Feb. 5, 2012.

Milian and The-Dream, born Terius Nash, welcomed Violet on Feb. 26, 2010. She turns two several weeks after 'The Voice' airs.
