Singer Chris Brown is attempting to put his past behind him as quickly as he can. The troubled singer, who is currently serving community service in Virginia, announced plans to push the release date of his comeback single up one day, according to his Twitter.

The song, 'I Can Transform Ya,' which features Lil Wayne, will be Brown's first official single since assaulting his ex, Rihanna, back in February. "Change of plans," Brown tweeted. "I'm going to release my single tomorrow instead of Weds. Tell everybody. I can transform ya, I can transform ya."

While several songs have leaked over the past seven months while Brown was facing trial and receiving sentencing, 'Transformer' is the only song his label considers "official." The song was produced by Swizz Beatz, who claims that Brown is making a transformation of his own, and prepared to move in a positive direction.

"He's got something to prove," Swizz told MTV. "He worked on 60, 70 songs. He's just on fire. I told him, 'Listen man, just stay focused on your music. They gonna throw shots at you. Time heals everything.' He has great support; his mother is amazing. I was really scoping out the situation -- it could have been something I didn't want to be around, but I really got a great vibe. Honestly."

"Transformer" is the first single from Chris Brown's forthcoming album 'Graffiti.'
