Chief Keef Detained in Miami After Being Caught With Lean; Drops ‘Kills’ Video
Chief Keef was detained by police in Miami over the weekend and some of it was captured on video (watch above).
According to People, traffic cops pulled over Keef, who was driving a green Lamborghini McLaren, when they spotted his passenger, identified as Cortez McElrath, get out of the car and started talking with people behind them in a grey Altima. Police then witnessed McElrath allegedly handing someone in the vehicle a "bag with a green leafy substance," which prompted them to stop both cars.
Upon further inspection of Keef's vehicle, police discovered the Chicago rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was in possession of lean (aka Sizzurp). In addition, police stated in their report that Keef had "bloodshot watery droopy eyes and mush mouth."
Authorities also found marijuana in the Altima. There’s no word if Keef, and the four people, who was also detained by police, will be charged with drug offenses as the investigation is still ongoing.
Keef and his crew were able to bond out of jail and celebrate on social media.
Meanwhile, Keef released a new video for “Kills” on Saturday (April 8). The clip is filled with your basic rap video tropes as the Chicago rhymer brags how much money he has while dancing around in an expensive mansion with his cronies.
Reps for Chief Keef had no comment on the matter.
