Chance the Rapper, Kelly Rowland, Usher & Wale Attend President Obama’s Farewell Party, Solange Performs [PHOTO]
Outgoing President Barack Obama held his farewell party at the White House on Friday night (Jan. 6) and there was plenty of high-profiled celebrities in the house.
Musicians Chance the Rapper, Kelly Rowland, Usher, Wale, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Nick Jonas and others attended the shindig wearing their finest duds. Actors Jay Pharoah, Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and others were seen entering the White House as well.
According to Rap-Up, Beyonce didn’t attend the soiree, however, her sister Solange represented and performed for the President and First Lady Michelle Obama.
"The sound check of life... Was truly the ultimate, ultimate honor. Can't even put into words. Really. We will miss your excellence, your grace, and the phenomenal legacy you have let us all share," Solange wrote on Instagram.
Chano also posted a tweet expressing his excitement for the White House event. "Obama Going Away Party. I'm charged up," the fellow Chicago native tweeted.
President Obama will give his farewell address in his hometown of Chicago on January 10 at 9PM ET.
