Cardi B Signs Lucrative Deal With Atlantic Records

Cardi B is moving on up with her rap career. According to The Jasmine Brand, the Love & Hip-Hop star has inked a lucrative deal with Atlantic Records.

“They believe in Cardi’s talent,” a source told the gossip website. “She’s signed a multi-million dollar deal with Atlantic.” The source also said that Cardi will will exit from Love & Hip-Hop and focus on her music career.

“She wants to focus on music and be taken serious,” said the insider. “It’s hard for her to do that with all the drama she’s involved in on the show.”

Cardi B has already been making waves with her music. The 24-year-old Bronx, N.Y. native just released a new song called “Lick” featuring her rumored boyfriend Offset. You can stream her new mixtape, GBMV2, on her YouTube channel.

Reps for the rap newbie had no comment on the matter.
