Cam’ron Might Be Throwing Shots at JAY-Z on New Song [VIDEO]
It looks like a rap feud may be brewing between Cam’ron and JAY-Z. Complex spotted the Dipset leader's Instagram video of himself in the studio playing a new song. If you listen closely to the clip above it appears Cam is throwing a couple of subliminals at Hov.
The song kicks off with the line "you know Killa," which might be a reference to JAY-Z's 4:44 track "Moonlight" where he digs at Kanye West with the line, "Look, I know killers, you no killer, huh?!" Then Cam'ron adds, "R.I.P. to Mike but I'm the real Thriller," which is another reference to Hov's line, "Stop walkin' around like y'all made Thriller." However, Cam follows that with, "I ain't beefin' with the family man / I'm still in the PJs like Candyman."
There's no word on where this song will pop up. Killa Cam has been dropping a couple of interesting tracks lately. The Harlem rhymer flipped Cyndi Lauper's classic song "Time After Time" for "Dime After Dime." Cam also remixed Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" for "10,000 Miles."
