Bootsy Collins Dedicates Christmas Song to Peyton Manning [VIDEO]

Since his days with Parliament-Funkadelic, Bootsy Collins has always had an eccentric style. He's adding some holiday cheer to that and recently made a Christmas song, but not about Santa's sleigh or lighting the tree. Instead, he dedicates the tune to Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

Specially made for Sports Illustrated Kids, Collins' puts a new spin on 'Santa Claus Is Coming to Town' with 'Peyton Manning Is Passing Your Way.' Collins is dressed like a glammed up toy solider and dons his signature rings and star shades. All of this is while he plays the song on a glowing, star-shaped electric bass with Christmas lights brightening up the neck.

"Ho dee ho ho and a football throw," Collins yodels in the beginning of the track. "He knows if you'll blitz / He sees if it's zone / He knows if it's man / You'll wanna go home."

With the Broncos setting their sights on the 2014 Super Bowl, this is a great tune for a fan's playlist during the holiday season.
