Boosie Badazz is cancer free! The "Wipe Me Down" rapper went into surgery on Tuesday (Dec. 8) to remove half of one of his kidneys in a procedure called nephrectomy. And doctors believe it was successful.

According to TMZ, Boosie, who doesn't have health insurance, had to shell out $90,000 for the surgery -- and he's still not finished with the battle. The 33-year-old rhymer, who told the gossip website that he was feeling weak three days after the surgery, will move towards the next steps of recovery. This will include checking into a cancer rehab facility for at least three weeks.

But in the meantime, he's making sure to thank his day ones -- and to remind them that he's far from done.

"I want to thank each and everyone for all the support and love! Surgery went well..God is good! Next step recovery! Cancer has been removed from Boosie kidney... Thanks to all Boosie family and friends and all my real Boosie fans for all the prayers from #badazzmusicsyndicate," read an Instagram post on Boosie's page. "I am a #cancersurvivor please pray for my recovery I will be n rehab learning to walk again n build my strength so I can get back to the business thanks again for your prayersGODISGREAT"

He also took the time to get a bit of turning up to his song "Wipe Me Down" at the club with NBA players Dwight Howard and James Harden. While the good news is definitely a cause for celebration, we hope Badazz doesn't strain himself after such an intense surgery and gets into rehab soon.
