Bodega Bamz gets his thespian on for his short film, The Streets Owe Me. The Harlem, N.Y. rhymer’s movie is gritty and bloody, but if you watch Damon Dash’s recent foray into street cinema, Loisaidas, then you will appreciate this too.

Shot in a Martin Scorsese-style fashion in the sense that the story line begins with a segment taken from the middle of the story, the movie stars Bamz as a street thug who gets caught up in some drama after finding a bag of money. The 12-minute film also stars Bamz’s brother Ohla, Joellz Ortiz and Cipha Sounds.

The Streets Owe Me arrives ahead of Bamz's new album, Sidewalk Exec. The collection, which debuts April 14, boasts guest appearances from A$ton Matthews, A$AP Yams and Flatbush Zombies, and is produced entirely by V. Don.
