Having recently been dubbed the "second coming" of Michael Jackson by husband Jay-Z, it seems fitting that ubiquitous singer Beyonce has officially been confirmed as a performer at the Jackson family's upcoming MJ tribute concert in Wales.

Promoters for the controversial Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert made the announcement via Facebook, revealing that, due to scheduling conflicts, Beyonce will be performing one of her favorite Jackson songs via satellite, in what has been described as a "unique, never-before-seen performance."

"A lifelong Michael fan, Beyonce really wanted to be involved in this tribute concert," claims the promoters' announcement. "Due to scheduling issues she can't be there in person, but this performance is not to be missed!"

The concert, which has caused (typical) dissension within the Jackson family, due to its timing, will feature members of the family, as well as special guest performers Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Leona Lewis and more, and takes place on Oct. 8, in Cardiff, Wales.

Beyonce also recently appeared in a 15-second ad for her new perfume Pulse, which joins her other fragrances Heat and Heat Rush on shelves in September. The Jake Nava-directed spot -- he's also lead visuals for 'Single Ladies' and 'Crazy in Love' -- for her "electric new fragrance," depicts the singer sashaying mysteriously in a metallic gown, to the tune of her 'Run the World (Girls)' instrumental.

"Pulse is a fragrance you can wear all the time," Beyonce told People Magazine. "I love the idea of a signature scent that lets a woman leave her mark wherever she goes, so I always try to make my scents appropriate for any occasion."
