Songs of the Week returns once again and this is one roundup of dope selections that will keep your ears busy throughout the weekend. As we near the end of the first month of 2016, more than a few artists have made sure to provide us with some new tunes for our listening pleasure, most of which were not too shabby if you ask us.

After last week's killer lineup, which featured songs by pastor Jeezy, the embattled rapper Meek Mill and the hyper sensitive Kanye West, our picks for this week are definitely worthy of infiltrating your eardrums.

We present the latest edition of Songs of the Week, boasting new tracks from veteran rhymer Yo Gotti, lyricist Your Old Droog and Canadian heartthrob Tory Lanez.

Did your favorite new release make the cut? Take a listen below.

    "Again"

Yo Gotti Featuring Lunch Money Lewis

Yo Gotti is no stranger to the grind, but the Memphis hustler has been relentless as of late when it comes to keeping the hip-hop fiends supplied with fixes of audio dope. Gotti keeps up the momentum with his latest loosie, "Again," which sees him teaming up with Lunch Money Lewis tearing the club up and getting their stunting on over the xylophone-powered beat. Lunch Money Lewis earns his keep on the hook, rapping "I f---ed the club up again / Run up a check again, Me and my n----s again / Gan-Gan-Gan-Gan," before making space for Gotti to flex. And the rapper does just that, drawling "I ran a check up again / I f---ed a bitch and her friend / If we had a threesome, and I asked her can we do it again, gan-gan / This DJ Khaled-inspired, all I do is win-win-win / Matching Rollies, matching Ghost's, me and my bitch like twins-twins-twins" effectively laying his mack down while turning in a stellar banger.

    "42 (Forty Deuce)"

    Your Old Droog

Your Old Droog has built a respectable fan base for himself and has quieted all talks of him being a novelty by consistently churning out quality material. The Brooklyn native connects with producer Marco Polo on his latest song, "42 (Forty Deuce)." On the track, Droog reminisces on the good old days when Times Square was more dismal than Disney Land. "Me and my team played the deuce a / Back when you used to think you could boost your high with a loose / In front of the old Port Authority / I was the bust-down king, Newport authority," he raps over the vibrant soundscape. Droog's latest banger is another winner on our Songs of the Week playlist.

    "L.A. Confidential"

    Tory Lanez

Tory Lanez is doing big things. The Toronto crooner has started off the year on a high note with his performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, during which he brought out '90s r&b group Brownstone to help him perform his hit, "Say It," effectively reuniting the trio for their first performance in nearly twenty years. "Say It" may be continuing to gain steam and new fans for Tory Lanez, but his newest release, "L.A. Confidential," is sure to boost his profile even more as one of the artists to watch in 2016. "My girl might leave me if she hears about this / L.A. Confidential, L.A. Confidential," the Toronto native croons over the expansive live instrumentation. 2016 is shaping up to be a breakout year for Tory Lanez and "L.A. Confidential" serves as the calm before the storm that will be his inevitable assault on the airwaves.
