Beanie Sigel Released From Prison
Beanie Sigel is apparently a free man once again.
Wayno, a member of Triangle Offense Management, tweeted a picture of himself and Sigel outside of the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia.
DJ Drama also shared the same image, which he cropped, on his Instagram page with the caption: "welcome home beans!"
The news of the rapper's release is a bit of a surprise, though. Sigel was originally sentenced to two years in jail in 2012, for failing to pay $728,000 in taxes between 1999-2005 (the time of his Roc-A-Fella peak). In 2013, he was sentenced to another six-to-23 months for being arrested for possession of a controlled substance in August 2012.
Sigel's quiet release comes weeks after Remy Ma left jail. She served an eight-year sentence stemming from a shooting incident in July 2007.
