Ice-T has announced that he will the host the inaugural "Art of Rap" Festival featuring a lineup of 80's and 90's hip-hop acts.

Hip-Hop vets Public Enemy, EPMD, Mobb Deep and Naughty By Nature will headline the summer concert designed for fans who want to see their favorite artists from the past rock the mic.

"The SiriusXM Backspin Presents The Art of Rap Festival is a nationwide tour featuring an impressive lineup of legendary rappers and hip-hop artists kicking off on Saturday, July 16, 2016 with its first concert taking place in Dallas, Texas," according to a statement released by Ice-T and his manager Mickey Bentson (via HipHopWired.com).

The eight-city tour, which will also feature performances from MC Lyte, Grandmaster Melle Mel and Scorpio, Doug E. Fresh and the Sugarhill Gang, was inspired by Ice-T's 2012 acclaimed documentary, From Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap.
