Andre 3000 Goes Solo on Upcoming Album

OutKast's eccentric, but always stylish, Andre 3000 will once again bless fans with his innovative musical style with the release of his upcoming solo album that could hit shelves before the end of the year. In a recent interview, the musician said that he is working on the currently untitled effort. "It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year. I've pretty much been working with myself," he said. "I've never really been that big on collaboration."

Although he was less specific on the concept of the album if his unique fashion sense is any inclination to the type of music that he will be making fans can look forward to an eclectic mix. "I have a concept and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there."

Aside from music, Andre is taking his style of dress to the masses with the launch of his Benjamin Bixby clothing line at Barneys New York during fashion week. The rapper/actor/fashion designer will also star alongside Woody Harrelson, Charlize Theron, Ray Liotta and Michelle Rodriguez in the new film 'Battle in Seattle.' Andre plays an activist during the 1999 World Trade Organization Union in the upcoming drama, which hits theaters Friday.
