50 Cent has had beef with more than a few of his hip-hop colleagues, but it appears that the Queens MC is calling a truce with one in particular: Jay-Z.

50, who has made Jay-Z the brunt of a few lyrical jabs and unsavory comments, revealed that he and Hov are not at odds. "We don't have those kinds of relationships" 50 told MTV of his status with Jay and other rappers. "These people are people I associate with."

Null of declaring an actual friendship, according to 50, he and Jay are basically "frenemies" who "use each other" for business purposes. "We are in the same business. We are not necessarily friends. We don't call each other for no reason," he explained. "It's not like we have something against each other to make us enemies."

From his end, Jay has said nothing about their relationship, or lack thereof. The Roc Nation head briefly engaged in a verbal spat with 50 a few years back, but as of late, uses media opportunities to promote his various business ventures instead of stirring up controversy.

50 has been working on his upcoming 'Black Magic' album for nearly two years, and as for plans of a possible collaboration with the Brooklyn MC, or any other rappers he may have publicly blasted, the ball is in their court. "They don't pick up the phone and call me."
