5 Songs From Future’s ‘DS2′ Earn New RIAA Gold & Platinum Certifications

The new year has started off pretty good for Future. DS2 has been widely celebrated, and 18 months after its release date, five songs from the album have reached new heights—"Where Ya At," "Stick Talk," "Trap N----s," "Rich Sex," and, "Thought It Was A Drought" all earned new RIAA certifications on the same day.

Specifically, three of Future's singles went gold and two went platinum, giving Future a lot to celebrate. He ended the year on a high note as well, even after mysteriously deleting everything on his Instagram and promising something new in 2017. Future teamed with Drake on the Summer Sixteen Tour, which reportedly grossed 1 million per night, making it the highest grossing hip-hop tour of all time.
