Newcomer Mateo, who dropped his 'Love & Stadiums' R&B mixtape earlier this year, has managed to wrangle power couple Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys for his official first single, 'Say It's So.'

Keys lends her powerful pipes to the hook, and Swizz contributes some hip-hop ad-libs while Mateo laments of a lost love over the synthy Swizz-produced track.

"Now I walk through endless nights/ Let the street lights pass the time/ And even though your call don't come (no)/ I still pray you're by the phone," the heartbroken former financial consultant softly croons.

The collaboration apparently came about because Mateo is signed to Krucial Noise, the label owned by producer-songwriter Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, a longtime Keys collaborator and rumored ex-boyfriend.

'Say It's So' will appear on Mateo's forthcoming EP 'Love & Stadiums II.' His mixtape featured appearances by rappers Pusha T, Kardinal Offishall, Ab-Liva and fellow smoky-voiced singer Goapele.
