Singer Mateo has come a long way since his days as a MySpace Records artist (yes, that was a thing). He's inked a deal with producer Kerry "Krucial" Brothers and his Krucial Noise imprint, which rests nicely over at Interscope Records. The Cincinnati, Ohio native recently released the five-song EP, 'We've Met Before,' a sampling of his stadium music sound with passionate odes like 'How Good Is Your Love.'

During a session with The Boombox and McDonald's Live Bytes, the crooner showcased his talents in front of a live audience. Before you get a chance to witness Mateo captivate the crowd with his voice and piano-playing skills, watch him chat about his forthcoming album, Lauryn Hill's influence, quitting his day job and the one thing that would make him die a happy man.
