Mateo would die a happy man if he was able to record with Lauryn Hill and he kicks himself because he didn't create Drake's 'Hold On We're Going Home' first. Those are just some of the gems the 27-year-old singer dropped during his chat with The Boombox before grabbing the mic at MSR Studios in New York City for a McDonald's Live Bytes session.

Backed by a keyboardist, drummer and guitar player, Mateo grooved through his sensual track 'How Good Is Your Love,' appearing on his new EP, 'We've Met Before.' "I like that you listen and grab my attention / With lips made for kissing I aim right for them," he sings. The Interscope Records artist also grabbed the audience's attention (and even a young lady's hand) during the intimate set, which showcased his skills in tickling the ivories.
