YG Offers to Perform ‘FDT’ at Donald Trump’s Inauguration for a Hefty Payday
Since Donald Trump is having a hard time booking performers for his upcoming presidential inauguration on Friday (Jan. 20), YG says he will perform at the event, but for a price.
On Saturday (Jan. 14), the Compton rhymer went on his Twitter account and offered to perform his anti-Trump song, “F--- Donald Trump” (“FDT”) at the inauguration. However, his performance fee is kind of steep -- he’s wants $4 million.
Of course, YG is just kidding (we think?); he along with other singers and rappers have expressed their disappointment in Trump being our soon-to-be President of the United States. T.I. recently wrote a candid letter to Trump, where he asked him what is his vision for America that is currently divided and in turmoil.
As for Trump’s inauguration, previously scheduled performer Jennifer Holliday pulled out of the event amid backlash on social media. However, the Broadway legend maintains that he canceled her performance in order to stand in solidarity of the LGBTQ community who have been supportive of singing career. Right now, rock band 3 Doors Down and country star Toby Keith are performing.
