Wale doesn't like people speaking ill of him, least of all NBA commentators.

On Monday night (Feb. 18), the D.C.-bred rapper confronted Toronto Raptors play-by-play announcers Matt Devlin and Jack Armstrong after the pair dissed him on air during a Raptors/Wizards game.

It all started after Raptors small forward Rudy Gay hit a three-pointer then put his hand to his ear while looking at the rapper.

"You see his reaction," said Devlin. "A fan is heckling him, and this fan is a well known local rapper named Wale."

"He said 'hey Wale, I'm in Canada now," Armstrong added. "Call me."

"Call me after the game because I just torched the Wizards for at least a dozen here in the second quarter and counting," said Devlin. "Wale is inspiring, and I'm sure somebody on Twitter can tell me exactly if they've ever heard of Wale. He's not Drake, that's for sure."

It seems Wale was tipped off to the fact that the commentators were ripping him, because video appeared later of the rapper confronting them at the arena in the middle of their telecast.

"Watch your mouth," Wale tweeted at Devlin in the middle of the game.

Later, he wrote: "Somebody calls [you] out your name and you confront them, you wrong. So who [are you] cheering for? The people who take insults in stride? Since when?"

He may have a point there.
