Vic Mensa is an immortal man in his new video for his song “Rage.” The five-minute clip finds the Chicago rapper aboard a plane that gets struck by lightning and crashes into the ocean.

From there, Vic rises from the fiery plane crash stronger than ever as he recounts his battle with mental health, substance abuse and his legal troubles through his lyrics. "These days I lose track of days," he spits. "Been years since I felt this way / Count on me to rage."

Interestingly, the video comes as Vic cop a plea in his gun case and received two years probation. Now that his legal matter is out of the way, the Roc Nation star can now focus on his upcoming album titled The Autobiography. The collection, which hits digital stores on July 28, boasts an all-star list of guest features including Pharrell, Weezer, Pusha T, the-Dream and Ty Dolla $ign.

In an interview with Billboard, Vic said the title was inspired by his candidness on various topics he raps about on the album.

“I wasn’t pulling any punches. I wasn’t pulling any names. I was just observing myself, and the world around me," he said. "I went to a political place last year, and was in Standing Rock, and Baton Rouge, I went out to where Alton Sterling was killed. [I went to] Flint, Michigan, and this time around, I really wanted to come tell my own story.”
