Daymond John must be at home shaking his head, weeping over a glass of wine, because the company he once had a chance to invest in has just found another way to increase its profit margin. Uber, America's new car service obsession, with an approximate $18.2 billion net worth, has teamed up with Spotify to allow users to create a custom playlist. Those taking a ride will now rock out with "Spotify Your Ride."

The new collaborative app feature officially launches today (Nov. 21), and is set to run with iOS for the low price of $9.99 -- the price of Spotify's premium service. Starting in 10 select cities -- London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Nashville, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Stockholm, Sydney and Toronto -- users just need to go through three simple steps to create the ultimate Uber experience: 1) Make a playlist, 2) Request your ride and 3) Listen to the music as it streams in your Uber.

And to all Android users, don't fret because the beta version of "Spotify Your Ride" for Droid is just around the corner.
