Ty Dolla $ign is committed to bringing awareness to his movement to free his older brother from prison who is currently serving a life sentence for murder. After dedicating his 2015 debut album, Free TC, to the mission, Dolla $ign is back with visuals that are just as impactful.

Music blog Noisey premiered Free TC, a 12-minute documentary on Wednesday (April 20). In the Daniel Kaufman-produced black-and-white short, the singer-producer, his mom, sister, and other family members narrate the short timeline before and after Gabe (or "TC"), was incarcerated.

The emotion and vulnerable film brings awareness to wrongful incarceration and provokes conversation about the penal and justice system in America.

Back in March, Dolla $ign held a private screen in Los Angeles. He reminded fans of his original promise to support his brother and bring him home.

"Like I've said from the beginning, every dollar that I'm making from this is going to his case to get the best lawyers to provide the best situation for him to get a second chance at life like he deserves just like everybody else,” Ty told HipHop DX.

The Free TC deluxe edition is out now on iTunes. The 31-year-old Los Angeles native will be back from his tour in Europe just in time to hit the stage at the BET Experience in June.
