Timbaland is now ready to turn his attention to his own solo album after keeping himself busy this last year working on projects for Jay Z, Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson. During a recent sit-down with Revolt, the super producer announced that his upcoming fourth LP is titled 'Opera Noir.'

"It’s a culture thing. It’s the truth," Timbo says of the project, which has already gone through several name changes. "It’s just about life in general. My life. My personal life, and I found myself as an artist and human being and as a man. I found who I am." He also described it as his own version of Dr. Dre's 'The Chronic.'

Despite dropping the Jay Z, Drake and James Fauntleroy-assisted 'Know Bout Me' last year, 'Opera Noir' will only feature appearances from CeeLo Green and Timbaland's new artist, V. "When it comes out and you see the whole package, you’ll understand why," he explains.

'Opera Noir' will serve as Timbaland's first album since 2009's 'Shock Value II.' Watch his interview above.
