Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Vic Mensa, and More Assist ‘Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief’ [PHOTOS]
The stars came out to help with "Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief," a telethon fundraiser to benefit victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The one-hour special, which will benefit those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, airing live and commercial-free on Tuesday (Sept. 12). With proceeds going to charities like Rebuild Texas Fund, ASPCA, Best Friends, Direct Relief, Feeding Florida and Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children and United Way.
A week ago, Bun B announced that he was organizing a telethon for Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston, the altruistic rapper recruited several A-list celebrities to join him on his charitable mission.
Oprah Winfrey and Sean "Diddy" Combs were among the stars on-hand to help with the effort, all making a push to help in the aftermath of a terrible hurricane season.
Other stars lending a hand in Los Angeles were Stevie Wonder, Anthony Anderson, Terry Crews, Black Eyed Peas, Charlie Wilson, Wanda Sykes, DJ Khaled, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Rowland, Kerry Washington, Lee Daniels, Marlon Wayans and Timbaland. Meanwhile in New York, Vic Mensa, Lupito Nyong'o, Jamie Foxx, Robert De Niro, Drake, Leo DiCaprio, and Questlove were manning phones.
The telecast was available to watch on ABC, BET, Bravo, CBS, CMT, E, Fox, HBO, iHeartMedia, MTV, NBC, Oxygen, SiriusXM, Univision and Westwood One, as well as AOL, Apple Music, Beats 1, Facebook, HuffPost, Twitter, Yahoo and YouTube.
