T.I. is a busy man. In a recent interview with Houston radio station 97.9 The Box, the "Family Hustle" star discussed his forthcoming album, Trouble Man, new book and his role on the second season of Starz' drama "Boss," which stars Kelsey Grammar.

The series, produced by Grammar, revolves around a fictitious mayor of Chicago, who has been diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder.

"I play Trey Rogers, a former gangbanger, and I'm trying to get myself out of the streets and into a political position in City Hall," Tip explains. "This series shows particularly how the streets and politics are so closely connected."

The second season of "Boss" premiered Aug. 17.
