The sprawling CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival hits New York City this week. One of the biggest music conferences in the world, CMJ takes place across dozens of venues, features around 1200 bands and represents just about every genre of music. Once known for its college radio-friendly ethos, the festival has expanded in recent years to include a healthy dose of hip-hop. From Wu-Tang brethren GZA and Ghostface to a Duck Down Records showdown and sets from hot artists like Freddie Gibbs, there's something for every rap fan.
