Niatia "Lil Mama" Kirkland and Lance Gross star in the gripping melodrama When Love Kills: The Falicia Blakely Story. The movie is the directorial debut of Tasha Smith (Empire), and tells the story of "a young woman who gets caught up with the wrong man who leads her down a dangerous path of drugs, gun and more," according to TV One.

As a teenage mother, Blakely clashes with her own mom ( Tami Roman of Basketball Wives) and starts stripping. At her strip club she meets Dino (Lance Gross of House of Payne). But Dino pulls Falicia into crime and eventually alters the course of her life drastically.

This is Lil Mama tackling another major TV movie after her acclaimed performance as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes in VH1's Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story back in 2013.

The movie premiered on TV One last night (Aug. 28) and the fans had strong opinions about the tragic story.
