While everyone loves a great turn-up joint in the summer, it's always good to sit back and mellow out. Teedra Moses teams up with Anthony Hamilton for the smooth R&B ballad "That One."

On the track, all Teedra is asking for is a lover who can handle her mood swings and a man of his word. Not hard, right?

"Now we're grown up and there's more at stake between love and lust, it's complicated," sings Moses. "Tell me that you're that one / That's what I need you to be / and if you show your all / I'll give you all of me."

Hamilton returns the favor with an enchanting verse of his own. With hopes of promising a lifetime full of love and devoid of melancholy, the crooner bares his all for that one special lady. "I swear if I could ride for you / be there, have my life with you / Love to take chances, to treat you right / Fix what those other guys did," he belts.

It may be the summer, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with skipping over to cuffing season, especially after hearing a record like this. For you lovebirds out there, you can expect the video to drop at the end of July.

“I want to provoke thought and conversation. My records are about love and life and my observations of things going on in society that I’m kind of confused about,” Moses tells The Boombox, breaking down the intent of the album. “And the ‘cognac’ part is just my vibe. I like to drink brown liquor. I’m kind of gangster.”

Teedra's new album, Cognac & Conversation, arrives Aug. 7.
