T.I. And Tiny Owe IRS Over $4.5 Million in Back Taxes
Rapper T.I. may have to hustle a little bit harder to get the tax man off his back. The Atlanta rhymer and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, owe the IRS millions of dollars in back taxes.
According to the New York Post’s Page Six, the reality-TV couple owes Uncle Sam over $4.5 million in back taxes. The newspaper claims they failed to pay taxes in 2012 and 2013.
Apparently, the U.S. government filed a tax lien against Tiny earlier this month for $1.4 million for 2012 and and a separate tax bill against Tip for $3.2 million unpaid taxes in 2013.
Reps for both T.I. and Tiny had no comment on the matter.
The couple aren’t the only ones who were slapped with a hefty tax bill. Former Roc-A-Fella Records founder Damon Dash owes the IRS $4 million in back taxes as well.
T.I. and Tiny shouldn’t have any problems paying off their debt. The dynamic duo have been very successful with their ventures in the clothing, television and music business. Tip is the CEO of the CEO of Grand Hustle Records and the founder of AKOO clothing line.
