Iggy Azalea called it. After the Aussie rapper caught wind of T.I.'s statements that they were no longer working together last week, she let her fans know that in due time he'd clarify what he meant. That day has come.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the Atlanta rhymer said he still considers Azalea his "little sister" and that his previous words on parting ways with her were misconstrued.

"That's still my partner," he said after confirming that she's still on the Grand Hustle label. "Her life has taken her in a different direction. My life is still as it was before. But Iggy is doing what she feels makes Iggy happy. That's what she should do. We're focused on making the next Iggy record and dodge the same adversities we faced last time."

After Tip went on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning to discuss their working relationship, the "Fancy" rapper went on Twitter to voice her confusion before adding, "Im sure tip will publicly clarify what he meant when he feels he has the right platform to do so and other than that, im chillin."

And now that he has, it seems T.I. has a lot on his plate too.

While working on his new EP, Da Nic, the 34-year-old rapper left Columbia Records to go independent. The Paperwork creator also plans to release his 10th album, The Dime Trap, this year.

"It's a perfect time to make a change," Tip said. "It's refreshing to be back on the grind like 'nose to the grindstone' and being back in the trenches."

Azalea is also on her grinding. She's set to shoot the cover art for her next album and take the stage at Coca Cola's Music Experience in Spain in October.
