T.I. is currently behind bars serving a one-year prison sentence in Arkansas, but the ATL rapper still managed to release a personal video greeting in time for Sunday's (May 8) Mother's Day celebrations.

In a pre-recorded message, the Trap Muzik CEO sent out warm wishes to mothers everywhere, presumably including his own wife, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle. "I want to say happy Mother's Day. I want to send my love and support to you in return," T.I. says in the video. "Just be safe, hold it down, catch you in a minute."

The short clip was recorded and prepared before T.I. began his one-year sentence.

In November, T.I., born Clifford Harris Jr., began an 11-month sentence in an Arkansas prison after violating parole charges stemming from a previous brush with the law. During a traffic stop in Los Angeles, he and his wife were arrested for possession of ecstasy.

Grand Hustle recording artist Killer Mike recently revealed to MTV that T.I. had spent his last night before prison recording the upcoming video for his album's lead single 'Ready Set Go.'

T.I. will be released from the Arkansas prison, where he completed a previous 2009 sentence, in September.
