While T.I. continues his return to music with his upcoming 'King Uncaged,' and a triumphant first post-prison show in New York City earlier this week, the ATL king has his sights set on other mediums. 'King Uncaged' was already delayed because Tip was working on acting and amassing film roles -- like his current spin in the action flick 'Takers' -- and now comes the news that he is in the process of creating an animated television series.

T.I. will star in a new cartoon series called 'Lil' Homies.' He sat down with morning show host Angela Yee to discuss the project this morning. "I'm actually working on a TV show as a producer as well as a cartoon," T.I. explained to listeners on Shade 45. "It's called 'Lil' Homies.' I don't know [what network it's gonna be on]. I may do voiceover like a narrator."

As for Tip's recent penchant for non-music activities, it's clear that he wants to focus on one thing at a time. "I feel it wouldn't be fair to the film or the album if I was splitting my attention span amongst the two," Tip continued, "so I hit pause on the album to completely focus my attention to rolling out this here film." 'Takers' hits theaters Aug. 27.
