T.I.Just before the holiday T.I. received an early release on his year-long prison sentence for weapons charges. So, it's no surprise that there are whispers that the King himself is already back on his grind and hitting the studio. The meme comes from a tweet by famed music executive Kevin Liles that was quickly removed due to potential legal liabilities. Liles once served as executive vice president of Warner Music Group, which was home to T.I.'s Grand Hustle Records.

"My right hand went home to visit family and found his way to the studio," wrote Liles. "He said, 'Why wait for 2010, get it in now.' Love the attitude!"

Global Grind was quick on the draw and snapped an image of the entry. The site is passing it around as probable truth. Truth or gossip, it doesn't matter too much. T.I.'s return to the studio is one of the more anticipated hip-hop events for 2010. With months in solitude and a seeming newfound positivity, many are betting that T.I. is ready to burst with some dominant hit singles. It'll be fascinating to see what sort of lyrical content he decides to come with after his time in the pen. The usual guns, money and women subject matter seems to present a conflict to T.I.'s community service work. Maybe he will take it like Hov and explore the pleasures of life in the upper crust of society and use the past as a lesson for listeners.

While T.I. was released from prison a couple weeks ago, he will remain in a halfway house until a full release in March.
