Swizz Beatz Teams With Kanye, U2’s Bono for ‘Skyscrapers’
Swizz Beatz has nabbed some heavy hitters for his upcoming album 'Haute Living.' The producer-MC has revealed that he has recorded a song, dubbed 'Skyscrapers,' with Kanye West and U2's Bono. Swizz intends to include the track on his third LP, dropping later this summer.
"I recorded with Kanye in the studio and then I recorded with Bono in this actual studio right here," he told Paper Magazine while promoting his joint venture with Reebok.
The rapper, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, has been teasing listeners with tidbits about his oft-delayed album for some time. During the interview, he confirmed that the upbeat LP will feature guest appearances from Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Lil Wayne, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Eve.
He has already released the first single, 'Everyday (Coolin')' featuring Eve, and has shot videos for 'Rock 'N' Roll' featuring Lenny Kravitz and Lil Wayne and 'International Party' featuring his wife Alicia.
Swizzy has been keeping busy as of lately, working with Mary J. Blige on her upcoming album, 'My Life II: The Journey Continues,' and releasing tracks weekly as part of his Monster Mondays series. He most recently revealed that his next project will be to remix the New York Knicks' anthem 'Go NY Go.'
