Vic Mensa’s debut studio album, The Autobiography, is finally here and it arrived a week early. Originally scheduled for a July 28 release, fans of the Chicago rapper woke up on Thursday morning to see the project was out now.
While Mensa’s album will still see a mass-release on July 28, The Autobiography is available for streaming on NPR's website. The record will be made available on other streaming services next week. The 15-track album features guest appearances from Pharrell, The-Dream, Weezer, Ty Dolla $ign and more.
During a recent listening party for the album, Vic received high praise from JAY-Z.
“Vic is a very special guy,” Jay said. “Vic is a very special talent; sing well, rap well… he’s an incredible artist, a once-in-a-lifetime artist.”
