Stevie Wonder is a soul icon who has achieved probably almost everything in life. But the piano man’s one dream in life came true -- he became a TMZ photographer.

We jest, of course. But on Wednesday (March 12), Wonder was given the opportunity to be a paparazzi outside of the Ed Sullivan theater before his appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.

Camera man Adam gave Wonder the camera and after a few tips, he was on his way. Honestly, he did a pretty good job considering that he is legally blind. He filmed some of the fans, the sky and even Adam the photographer. Wonder also suggested a new show title, Stevie with TMZ. Hmm, it has a nice ring to it.

However, fans were upset that TMZ would poke fun at Wonder's vision problem and allow him to hold a camera in the first place. "Stevie Wonder Is a TMZ" became a Trending Topic on Twitter earlier today as a result of his fans sounding off against the gossip site. “Nothing has ever made me smh more than seeing stevie wonder with a camera,” wrote one commenter. Another fan joked about the situation. "Heard hes co directing the next star wars movie," he tweeted.
