Solange Knowles has always been a woman centered on experimentation. Earlier this week, the Houston-raised, Brooklyn, N.Y., transplant put on some eye-catching wares for New York Fashion Week. Dressed in a myriad of prints, the singer and DJ walked into the city's Lincoln Center on Sept. 11 owning her look.

Leopard print pumps, a neon yellow purse, a spotted burgundy top and a blue houndstooth pencil skirt was Solange's outfit of choice while taking in the sights at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She topped off her wardrobe by donning a bold red lip.
