Sevyn Streeter fans were hit with a smooth acoustic version of "Just Being Honest," a song from her EP, Shoulda Been There Pt. 1.

The 29-year-old singer kicks it in a hotel room with guitarist Chris Payton in the Rocki Muir-directed video. Animated rainclouds, music notes and butterfly wings also add to breezy vibes of the visual.

"I know I'm not the only one that's been through this...When your ex comes back after doin some foul shiii finish this sentence....#JustBeingHonest," read an Instagram post by the singer before she encouraged her followers to share their stories. She even gave an example on how they can do it. "Example: #JustBeingHonest my friends and I laugh at your attempts to try to come back. Or #JustBeingHonest yea I still think about you, but then I think about all the messed up s--- you did. Yall turn!" it read.

And so far fans are loving it.

"omg can I just say how big of a smile this put on my face !! I literally almost cried tears of joy," read one tweet. "'just being honest' acoustic video probably has 1000 views from me alone!" added another fan with heart eyes and power fist emojis.

Streeter has been pretty busy herself. She has some new music on the way with artists like Jeremih, Dave East, Tory Lanez and more slated to collaborate. She's also finishing up her first feature film, Ringside. The boxing movie is set to air on TV One.
