Scarface Embarking on The Icon Tour in February

Veteran rapper Scarface is hitting the road in 2016. The Houston native is scheduled to perform in 28 cities in "The Icon Tour" starting next month.

The trek, which kicks off Feb. 11 in Tulsa, Okla., will hit multiple stops including Texas, the West Coast, the Midwest and the South, before wrapping it up in his hometown on April 1 (No April Fool's joke). But the rhymer hinted that the tour may expand to additional cities as well. We certainly hope so since New York isn't on the list as of yet.

While the tour life can be straining on the body, it seems the rhymer is already gearing up for the challenge. On his Instagram account, he has posted several videos of him going hard in the gym during boxing training. We see you, Scarface.

Last year, the former Geto Boys member released his first album in seven years, Deeply Rooted, to critical acclaim. The collection includes features from Nas, John Legend and Rick Ross.

The 45-year-old also released a memoir, Diary of a Madman: The Geto Boys, Life, Death, and the Roots of Southern Rap, which chronicled his childhood and his rise to rap stardom
