Safaree Samuels Denies Mopey Nicki Minaj Tweet: ‘I Don’t Even Talk Like That’

Safaree Samuels says don't believe everything you see on Twitter.

The rapper raised some eyebrows this week when a tweet from his account appeared to indicate that he was in his feelings over his famous ex-fiancee, Nicki Minaj.

“I really want a kid,” the quickly-deleted tweet read. “Nicki you were supposed to have my child.. I can’t believe this is life…”

But Safaree claimed today (July 28) that he never tweeted the tweet that everyone saw.

"I did not tweet that yesterday.. I don't even talk like that," he tweeted. "Any1 who knows me knows I would never out the blue tweet something like that."

Let's just say the Twitterverse wasn't buying it.

"If u did tweet it just own it and accept the fact u want Nicki minaj back," responded one fan. "What's wrong if you did say that?," another fan pointed out. "Sounded like the lyrics from can't lie . You did say that in a song right?"

Meanwhile, Nicki and fellow rap superstar Future just dropped the video for "You Da Baddest" from Future's hit album HNDRXX.
