Following news of his recent split from his wife of three years, American Idol champ Ruben Studdard has returned with a cover of the Bobby Brown classic 'Rock Wit'cha.'
The "Velvet Teddy Bear" transforms the Brown ballad, which appeared on his multi-platinum 1998 album 'Don't Be Cruel,' into a velvety duet with female vocalist K. Michelle, trading Brown's lusty wails for a syrupy-soft Luther Vandross vibe. Check it out here.
'Rock Wit'cha' is the lead single from his forthcoming fifth LP, 'Letters From Birmingham,' in stores March 11. Studdard's last album, 'Love Is,' was released in 2009.
