Just two days after Rihanna released her highly anticipated album, ANTI, the collection has already sold 1 million copies.

According to the RIAA, RiRi’s LP is certified platinum - at least digitally. The R&B songbird didn’t take the traditional approach with her project by releasing it to retail first. Instead, the “Work” singer dropped it on TIDAL, which Jay Z’s popular streaming service.

We must also mentioned that Samsung, who signed Rihanna to a $25 million deal last October, bought 1 million copies before the album’s initial release and made them available as a free download. If you recall, Hov took the same approach when he released his project Magna Carta Holy Grail in July 2013.

Meanwhile, physical copies of Rihanna's ANTI album will arrive in store on Feb. 5 both in standard and deluxe formats. This could boost the sales of her project to 2 million because, let's face it, nothing beats holding the CD booklet in your hands and looking at the photos and album credits.

According to Billboard, the deluxe set will feature the same three bonus tracks currently available on the deluxe digital version: "Pose," "Sex With Me" and "Goodnight Gotham."

There's no word on when Rihanna is going to release the video for "Work," her duet with Drake but we expect that will be dropping soon as well.
