Rihanna Witnessed an Exorcism as a Child

Rihanna has probably seen a lot of crazy things in her short career, but apparently, before she made it to the music big leagues, she's witnessed something even more interesting: an exorcism. The pop star was hit up by Los Angeles radio station 102.7 Kiss FM where she revealed the strange story to disc-jockey Jo-Jo Wright.

According to the Grammy winner, as a child in Barbados exorcisms were a common occurrence in her church. "I used to go to church and sometimes it would happen," she explained. "In the middle of the ceremony somebody would get up screaming and spinning out of control and everybody would rush to [them] and pray."

As if that wasn't spooky enough, Rihanna went on to detail an exorcism that took place at a house that she was in. "They were praying around this table, we were young though, and one of the girls, she got up and she just started screaming. I remember they locked us in the bedroom because they didn't want kids to see that. Every time they prayed she would start screaming in the weirdest voice. It's funny now but at the time I was like s---ing myself!" Adding insult to injury the lights went out in the house due to a rainstorm.

Even though she couldn't stop laughing while telling the story, we're guessing watching an exorcism is pretty scary stuff. Watch the video below.
