Rihanna to Perform on Saturday Night Live

Rihanna is back to making regular television appearances. After breaking her silence on ABC with Diane Sawyer last month and releasing her fourth studio album, 'Rated R,' the R&B singer will now be the musical guest on 'Saturday Night Live' on Saturday, Dec. 5. The show, hosted by 'Gossip Girl' star Blake Lively, will be Rihanna's first time on the 'SNL'. No information has been released yet as to what two songs she will perform.

In addition to her 'SNL' gig Rihanna will also perform on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Dec. 2. She is also scheduled to do a free concert at Hammestein Ballroom in New York City on Dec. 3 as part of MySpace's 'The Release' urban concert series. 'The Release featuring Rihanna' will also stream live on Myspace.com.
