Rihanna has been going non-stop in support of her seventh studio album Unapologetic and all her hard work seems to have paid off, as the singer has just garnered her twelfth number one hit with her latest single "Diamonds."

This ties the "Umbrella" creator with Madonna and The Supremes as the only other musicians to have twelve number one hits. Her track hit the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100, forcing out Maroon 5's "One More Night."

Her first number one hit came in 2006 with "SOS" and has since been followed up by a seeming never-ending string of pop gems, including "Live Your Life," "Disturbia" and "Take A Bow" to name a few.

With the drama and controversy surrounding her ambitious "777 Tour" and the ever present complications from her past with Chris Brown, Rihanna seems slated to stay in the spotlight for a long time. But will the singer be able to keep up her streak? Only time will tell.
