Rihanna loves whips and chains, and now she's adding Britney Spears to her fantasy.

The singer teamed up with the veteran pop icon for the remix to her current single 'S&M,' which hit the airwaves this weekend. As news of the duet hit the news circuit, the Bajan beauty and the pop princess shared a few quips via Twitter. "I got a #SEXY collabo comin your way supa dupa soon!!!! OH YEAH!!! By popular demand....," RiRi tweeted Sunday (April 10). "Its [sic] BRITNEY BITCH!!!!"

Spears responded coyly with, "You're such a tease! I like it, like it... You think they're ready Ri Ri?..."

The track debuted on New York's Z-100, with Rihanna calling in to explain the motivation behind teaming up with Britney. "In order to do a remix, it had to be major," she said to morning show host Elvis Duran. "I asked my fans last week who they really wanted me to collaborate with, and Britney was one of the most popular names. Britney doesn't do features, and it was really amazing that she wanted to be a part of this song."

For her part Spears, doesn't change too much of the song's original make-up but manages to fit snugly into RiRi's naughty shoes. Released in January, the single peaked at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles charts and atop the Dance Charts.
